Volpaia Castle is a fortified village dating to the eleventh century, built on the watershed of two small valleys between Florence and Siena. Every year on 10 August in Siena held "Goblets of Stars", an event organized during the night of San Lorenzo from the town of Siena in collaboration with the Enoteca Italiana and Union Astrofili Senesi. In this night we can observe the phenomenon of shooting stars in the striking setting of the lodges in the Palazzo Pubblico, and taste the most famed wines in Tuscany.
