The name Chianti evokes a poetic territory, an excellent wine famous all over the world, a unique emotion. The adventure begins along the way Chiantigiana where through the quiet village of Radda in Chianti, with landscapes like
postcard: stone houses, the classic cypress that seem guard the house, until you arrive in Greve in Chianti, the realm of flask, where farmers keep alive the history of the famous nectar. From Greve begins the Cassia that go through
the Chianti and arrive to Montespertoli and Barberino Val d'Elsa. A journey through the Tuscan food tradition can only begin from this territory, where throughout history the traditional foods have been ennobled so as to become
ingredients of the "nouvelle cuisine" international. An example are the typical dishes like ribollita, neck, stuffing, chicken livers, tripe, or ingredients which in other times eating was a form of punishment: "eat dry bread and onions !!!",

Places do not miss
Volpaia Castle is a fortified village dating to the eleventh century, built on the watershed of two small valleys between Florence and Siena. Walking through corridors and tunnels you arrive to Enoteca where you can taste wine and
gourmet products including older vintages of Chianti Classico Castello di Volpaia. You can also buy all local products: Chianti Classico, Chianti Classico Riserva, Coltassala, balifico, White Volpaia, Vin Santo, Honey, aromatic vinegar,
extra virgin olive oil.
Special Occasions
 Every year on 10 August in Siena held "Goblets of Stars", an event organized during the night of San Lorenzo from the town of Siena in collaboration with the Enoteca Italiana and Union Astrofili Senesi. In this night we can observe
the phenomenon of shooting stars in the striking setting of the lodges in the Palazzo Pubblico, and taste the most famed wines in Tuscany.
